England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who played his first match for Rajasthan Royals in the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), is now out. He suffered a left hand injury while fielding in the first match itself. This has left him out of season 14 of the IPL and this has come as a big shock to the team.
Replacement of Ben stokes in IPL 2021
A report by England media group Independent.com UK said that he dived in an attempt to catch a catch by Chris Gayle during the first match. Stokes thus ignored the injury after falling to the left hand and played the entire match. However, even while batting in the match, he could not do much to move on to a duck.
Thus, when he was noticed after the match, his left hand finger was found broken. After which it has been reported that Stokes will no longer be seen playing for Rajasthan in the ongoing SEASON 14 of ipl. Not only that, rajasthan royals have also confirmed that Stokes has been knocked out of the ongoing IPL tournament due to a broken finger.
