WTC Final : Pujara is likely to be replaced with attacking batsman

Indian cricket fans are very sad after losing the World Test Championship.

Indian captain Virat Kohli has hinted at a change in the date after the World Championship defeat from New Zealand.

Virat Kohli, while talking about the defeat, said that now after the review of Team India, the right people will be brought who can play with the right mindset to bring better performance.

It cannot be said clearly from these words of Kohli who he is talking about. But it is certain that Indian batsmen let Kohli down in final. Due to which the team had to face defeat by eight wickets.

Kohli said that some players are not showing the spirit to score runs. In the first innings, batsman Cheteshwar Pujara scored 8 runs in 54 balls and played 35 balls for his first run. After that 15 runs in 80 balls in the second innings.

New Zealand easily chased down the target of 139 runs and won the final.

Said after the defeat of Team India, we will not wait anymore. If you look at our limited overs team, we have depth in the batting and the players are full of confidence. And we need it in cricket too. We have to review and plan afresh and understand what can works good for the team

And how can we play bold cricket. we have to bring right people in the team who can play with the right mindset to perform well.

After the World Test Championship final, Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted and wrote. Congratulations to the blackcaps on winning the world championship. You were the better team.

India will be disappointed with their performance as I said first 10 overs would be necessary and India lost both Kohli and Pujara in 10 balls

And it put a lot of pressure on the team. In view of this, the place in Cheteshwar Pujara’s team looks unsafe.

Since August 2019, Pujara has played 17 Tests in which he has scored just 500 runs at a modest average of 29.41.

Against England, Pujara scored 73, 15, 21, 7, 0 and 17 in 6 innings of 4 matches. In the same eight innings of four matches against Australia, Pujara’s bat scored 43, 0, 17, 3, 50, 77 and 25, 56 runs.

Now India has to play a five-Test series against England. In such a situation, if Pujara’s bat remains silent even in this series, then there is a high possibility that he will be let out of team India.

Let us tell you that in the final of the World Test Championship, Pujara not even failed with only with the bat but he also made mistake during the fielding.

Due to which Virat Kohli is very disappointed.

At a very crucial time of the match, Pujara dropped the catch of Ross Taylor, after which Team India lost.
